She is rather elderly but still retains some charms, for Mr. Sims if no one else. She has been long identified with disreputable resorts in this city and her name is quite well-known to the reading public. She was tor many years the mistress of a gambler. Sims is said to te somewhat younger than the fair and frail Miss Blanche. His business is a matter of speculation.
