DECEMBER 31, 1947-- Rev. Hugh Dowler, pastor of the Caihan Lutheran church for the last two years, has announced his resignation to accept a charge at Laramie, Wyoming.Mrs. Clark Hankins won first and Mrs. E.V. Glaser won second in Caihan's home decorating contest.Miss Gertrude E. Winters and Homer A. Ness were united in marriage Christmas Day at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Simla. The bride is the jyoungest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Winters of Ramah and the bridegroom is the yeuoaest son of Mr. and Mrs* Robert E. Ness of Kendrick.
