Miss Skokan, Lauridsen Wed Evening Of Nov. 13In an evening ceremony Nov. 13, Linda Diane Skokan of Mineola and Larry Lauridsen of Henderson were united in marriage by the Rev. Fred L. Cogburn of Tabor at the Henderson Christian Church.Attending the bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Skokan of Mineola, were Julia Watson of Mineola and Deanna Shipley of Glenwood.The bride wore a jersey floor-length gown accented in Venise lace. • The bodice featured a V neckline edged in Venise lace. The chic, long fitted sleeves were also trimmed with lace. The inverted “V” waistline connects the draped bodice to the full A-line skirt with a beautiful attachedchapel-length train.The matching headpiece was a one tier mantilla with Venise lace edging and appliques scattered throughout the back.Attendants to the groom, the son of Mr, and Mrs. K. G. Lauridsen of Henderson, were Robert Lauridsen, Lisle, III., cousin of the groom and Gregg Kadel of Henderson.Guests were seated by Larry and Gary Skokan, brothers of the bride; Charles Skokan, uncle of the bride; and Charles Akes, uncle of the groom.The couple are residing in Hastings, Neb., where the groom is employed as a draftsman.
