Miss Johnson becomes bride of H. D. MelingMum Pamela Roe .John s o n,daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dar-rr! Johnson, Rose Creek, became the brkle of Hal Dean Meling, son of Mrs. Norva Meling, 1111 2nd Ave. NW and the late Johnnie Moling, at 8 p.m. Thursday.Rev. (1 C Knutson performed the double ring, candlelight ceremony at Our Savior's Lutheran Church Chapel Mrs. Norva Mcling was soloist accompanied by Mrs. Larry Gil * bertson.Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in a floor-length gown of white silk organza fashioned with a modified high rise bodice trimm e d with Venise lace and enterlaced with red ribbon, scoop neckline and leg-o-mutton sleeves. Her floor-length veil of silk illusion was held by a profile headpiece of organza loops and she carried a white Bible with red rose*.Miss Cynthia Johnson was maid- of honor and Miss Linda Meling was bridesmaid. They wore w hite frilly lace blous e s with floor - length red velvet skirts. Their headpieces we r e red velvet ribbons with long streamers and bells and they carried single long stemm e d white roses.Jeffrey Meling, Fairbault. at • tended the groom as bestman and Larry Meling, Lyle, ua s groomsman.Mrs. Johnson wore a princess styled floor-length gown of olive green polyester cicpe with navy blue accessories and Mrs. Meling was attired in a princess styled floor-length gown of deep purple polyester crepe wit h black patent accessories. Their corsages were of pink and white feathered carnations.A reception was held Dec. 2fi at the VFW Hall. A dinner was served on Thursday at the Darrel John soft home.For travel the bride chose a floor-length gown fashioned with an empire bodice of emera I d green velvet with a floral print skirt of polyester knit and a corsage of red roses.Mr. and Mrs. Meling will make their home in Washington where the groom is serving with the Army,Ball-Wallacewedding
