Bridesmaids were Miss El-abeth Cohen, daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Milton Cohen of Redcoat Rd., Westport, and Parklync Polsky of New York City and Miss Donna Stone of Hun-Ave., New York City, to Arthur Edward Karlan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry G. Karlan of Passaic, N.J., took place last Sunday, Dec. 22, in the Cotillion Room of the Hotel Pierre in New York City.tington, L.I.1All the attendants wore sim-1Dr. Louis I. Newman of Con-giegation Rodeph Sholom performed the ceremony in a setting of blue and white flowers and a reception followed in the hotel ballroom.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of ivory peau de soie, styled w'ith a high neck-line, three - quarter - length sleeves and a short train. Her fingertip veil of ivory rosepoint lace was gathered to a small crown and she carried a bouquet of calla lillies and ivy.ilarly styled gowns, the maid of honor's in shocking pink moire and the others in aqua moiie, made with square necklines and three-quarter-length sleeves. They will reside at East 54th St. in New York City.Mrs. Karlan is a graduate of the Bentley School in New- York City and the University of Wisconsin. She is with the news division of the Columbia Broadcasting System.Mr. Karlan was graduated from the University of Illinois and served in England with the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
