Mr. and Mrs. August Fett of Storm Lake., The church was decorated with huge baskets of . white chrysanthemums and candelabra.*Officiating at the impressive double ring ceremony was the Rev. Frank Tumbill, pastor of the church.■ The bride, enterting with her father, was lovely in a white puffet gown with fitted bodice, iong pointed sleeves and the skirt falling into a long train. Her fingertip veil was held in place with a coronet of of seed pearls. She carried a white orchid and wore a strand of pearls, a gift of the groom.Mrs. Mariyn Glienke ♦ of Alta, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a gown of aqua taffeta and Miss Mary Dawson of Jefferson, a former classmate of the bride, wore an identical gown of orchid taffeta. Each carried a colonial bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums.Donald Fett, brother of the groom, served as best man.Ushers were* Everett Crane and Gordon Fett. Albert Glienke assisted in the bridal party.Mrs. Audrey Popp and Miss Mary Alice McCullough, wearing white formals, preceded the wedding couple by lighting the candles and also acted as ushers for the bridal party.Larry and Ronnie Crane, little friends of the couple, carried the rings on matching heart-shaped pillows followed by Lynn Fett, niece of the groom, served as flower girl. She wore a floor length orchid taffeta dressed and strewed roses petals in the path of the bride.Lois Crane and Florence Dressseff had charge of the guest book. Mrs. Helen Stark played the nuptial music and accompanied Harlan Frame of Linn Grove, who sang “Because” preceding the ceremony and “The Lord’s Prayer” while the bridal couple knelt at the ditar.The groom’s mother chose for the occasion, a tan dress with black ae-cesories.A reception was held in the Memorial hall at Vail for the immediate friends and relatives. The bridal table was centered with a three Aiered wedding cake which was cut by Mrs. Mane Baker. Miss Lucille Smith and Mrs. Marilyn Fett pouied. Nelda and Marlene Crane, neiees of the bride, served ice cream, cake andcoffee which had .been, prepared .bythe Get-Together club with Mrs. Hal Whiting in charge.The bride's going away costume was of Dover blue crepe with which she wore black suede accessories.After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Fett will make their home on tile Algoe farm west of Vail. Mr. Fett has been employed as a farm hand at various places in the community.
