DUKER-LOWEMr Theodore Duker, Jr., and Miss Annie Laurie Lowe were united in marriage on Christmas night, December 25, 1938, at the Catholic rectory in Macon, the Rev. Fr. Claud Barton performing the ceremony.Mr. Duker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore A. (Duker, of 715 North j Main street. He is a graduate of the Brookfield High school with the class of 1932, and for some time was employed by the Temple Stephens store in Brookfield, and was recently promoted to the position of manager of their store in Palmyra, Missouri.The bride was graduated from the Brookfield High school in the class of 1935, and since that time has beenan employe in the Mattingly Bros, store. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Lowe of 312 West Wood street, who were present at the ceremony.A dinner was served for the wedding party prior to the ceremony and immediately following the same the young oouple departed for their new home in PalmyraThe Budget-Oazette extends congratulations to this most popular young couple and sincere wishes that the coming New Year will bring them much happiness.
