11 iirsh-Pieree—Miss Edna Pierce, airiest daughter of Mr, anti Mrs. M. E. Pierre, was Married to Mr. Paul Tlursh, eldest son of Rov. and Mrs. A- E. Tlursh. Newburg, at the home of her parents, Mount Vernon township. Only the immediate relatives were present. The ceremony was performed by the groom's father before a bower of pink and white. Mr. Glen Muir, Cedar Falls, nephew of the groom, and Miss Lois Pierce, sister of the bride, were the attendants and as they took their places Mrs. Marea Chrislophel sang Love’s Sweet Song. After congratulations dinner was served by Mines. Robert and Fred Christoph el. Bremer.Mrs. Hursh has taught school for a number of terms and will continue1 until the end of the present term, March 3. After March 15, Mr. and Mrs. Hursh wLll be at home on a farm near Newburj.
