Daughter of Former Clerk Wise Married to Herbert C.Whitman.I Margery Wise, daughter of former I Cle-k or County Courts Jacob J. Wis*\ wan married this afternoon at 5 o’clock to Herbert C. Whitman. The cere-J mony was performed at the parsonage I of St. .Mary s Homan Catholic church, [the. Rev. Michael Vollmayer officiating, j 'J he bridesmaid was Miss Mamie Zell-I ner of New Philadelphia and the JbesL | man was Ira W. Whitman, a brother of the groom. Only the members of both families were present at the eer-cmcny.After stopping at the home of the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Wise, the young people were driven from the parsonage to the Wise home,*2 Hast Tremont street, where a supper was served. The house was decorated with holly and American beauty I roses were used extensively. The favors at the bride’s table were silk dressj fciiit cases and slippers filled with rice. Festoons of holly and electric lights were suspended above the table.The bride wore a white empire gownof serge trimmed with embroidered net and carried white roses. The bridesmaid wore a gown of old inight, stole a march on their friends and made a quick getaway from Massillon while the crowd was waiting at. the flat ion to give them a great send off.They allowed the rumor to be circulated that they were going to take the 15.
