Bella Mae Engle honored at 90th birthday gateringECKHART - Mrs. Bella Mae Engle was recently honored on the occasion of her 90th birthday with a party at the Eckhart Mines Deli.Born Oct. 28, 1902, she is the daughter of the late Jean(Stark) and John Holsinger. She was married to the late Vincent J. Engle. During their 63 years of marriage they were farmers on the Rose Meadow Farm located on Parkersburg Road in Eckhart. Mrs. Engle now resides in Hoffman and is an active member of Eckhart United Methodist Church.The surprise party was given by her daughter and son-in-law, Hattie Jean and Philip Brode, and her two grandchildren, Philip and Tammy Brode. A pink and purple color scheme was used. A two-tiered cake was baked by Cindy Blubaugh. Adelia McKenzie and Leona Porter cut the cake and Jack Gunter registered and seated the guests.
