Lane of Mattoon al .. was matron of honor, and Miss M Helen Danley of Lafayette, a sis- A1 .v ter of the groom, was bridesmaid.* * They wore ballerina length dresses ef green taffeta with the bateau \* necklines outlined with folds of ^ green velvet. The fitted bodices were fashioned with long waists, and the skirts were gathered at the [7 sides of the center panels. They . ’ carried arrangements of white and red carnations, g’ Robert G. Lane of this city ser-‘ ved Mr. Danley as best man. Two cousins of the bride, Dick Smith of Indianapolis and Donn Smith of ‘f* Oxford, O., Dale Roudebush and 'jj Charles Kemble of Lafayette were ; the ushers.*e Carl A. Thatcher escorted his daughter to the altar. Her floor length dress of white lace and tulle had a bodice of the lace with a high V neckline accented with a winged collar. The long fitted sleeves came to points over the d hands, and the bouffant tulle skirt d had wide panels of lace in the front b and the back. Her short veil fell from a lace and tulle half hat en-h crusted with pearls. She carried _ sprays of anthurium with vivid d flowers and large green leaves.After the church service, the guests were received in Friendship .
