BETROTHAL IS TOLDAT CHRISTMAS PARTY* -The engagement of Kite Ruth Anita Carson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. lt;Joha E. Carson, 49 Signal Hill Boulevard, East St Louis, III, to James R. Hall, was announced Saturday eve- i ning at an open house given by Misi i Carson and her brother, John H. Carson. Plans are being made for a ' summer wedding.I Miss Carson is an honor graduate of the School of Business and Public i Administration, Washington University, class of 1947. She is a member 1 ■ of Beta Gamma Sigma, National Honorary Commeroe Fraternity, and the , East St. Louis Branch of the American Association of University Women. She is employed at the St Louis “Union Trust Company as a secretary.Mr. Hall is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hall of Marshall, Illinois. He is a brother of 1. G. Hall of : Paris, Illinois, and hss a sister, Mrs.' Doit Spittler, residing on a farm near « Brocton, Illinois. Mr. Hall served three and on-half years with the Air I Force during World War II and Is a 1950 graduate of the College of Commerce and Business Administration, University of Illinois. He attended Indiana State Teachers College for one year. He is a member of the St Lou- « Is Chapter, National Association of 1 Coat Accountants and the B. P. 0. • Elks.
