Golden Anniversary Surprise PartyGiven For Fred Scheels By ChildrenA golde wedding anniversary was the occasion for a surprise dinner party given for Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sehee! by their children Dec. 18 at the Cameo Restaurant.'Tables decorated with candles and centered by bouquets of yellow mums and a three tiered wedding cake greeted the couple as they arrived for the family get-together.Attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Scheel, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scheel, Robert. Dean andJohn; Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Scheel, Jr., Linda and Ricky;* Mr. and Mrs. Bart Maschari. Susan. Carol, and Joe; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kennedy. Eddie and John; Mr, and Mrs. Norman Hirt, Norm and Mary Ann.Mr. and Mrs. Scheel (the former JMayme Brauenig) were married 50 years ago by the Rev. Widman in St. Mary’s Rectory. Mr. Scheel was formerly employed as foreman at the American Crayon Co. and retired after 48 years with the company.
