Weds a College Teacher.This afternoon, at2 o'clock, at thehome of Rev. and Mrs. H. C. Foote,of Etna avenue, was solemnized the marriage of Worthy Shuman and Miss Lulu Dickman. This wedding was somewhat of a surprise to their many friends. The young couple were accompanied to the Foote residence by Misses Grace Purviance and Nellie Livingston and Messrs. Otto Bowman and Ray Dickman, a brother of the bride. Rev. Foote pronounced the words that made them husband and wife. The groom is employed as pressman at the U. B. Publishing establishment and for a time was in the grocery business with Arthur Freed, on North Jefferson street. He is a young man well liked by those who have formed an acquaintance with him. Mr. Shuman came here from Hudson two years ago. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Dickman, |of Defiance, Ohio, and is at present teacher of elocution at Central college. She is a young lady of exceptionally good qualities, and is a valuable assistant in thecollege faculty. The happy coupleleft this afternoon on the interurban for Hudson where they will visit until after the holidays. Friends in the city join in extending congratulations.
