Married in Jail.William H. Witzenbacker and Margaret Lockekin were married in the District Attorney’s room in the Newburgh courthouse, Friday afternoon. Justice Fowler performed the ceremony. The bride was but sixteen years old, and had caused the arrest of Witzenbacker on the charge of seduction under promise of marriage.He refused to marry the girl, but a night in jail caused him to change his mind.
