Turners celebrate 60th yearA Christmas Eve buffet reception with family and friends was occasion for celebration of (iOlh wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Turner of Long Reach.• Hosting the 4 to 7 p.m.Lynwood Job's Daughters get new officersparty at their Santa Ana home was a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Turner, J2791 Chaplet Place. They have another son, Homer W. Turner of Long Beach, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.The Turners were married Dec. 24, 1910, in Hamilton, Ohio and have lived in Long Reach a144 Alboni Place for seven years.Mr. Turner retired in1952 as physical education director and executive secretary of the MCA in Greenshurg and Indianapolis, Ind. to become Director of Recreation for the city of Indianapolis. Ho retired from that position at age 69.He is a member of Murat Temple of the Shrine and Scottish Rites, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star, of which Mrs. Turner also is a member.
