Carswell Ihe bride is a graduate of Ashley High Schoot and Is employed by Homelite Chain Saw Co.tended Ashley High School and served five years with the U.S. Air Force, He Js employed by Hess Oil and Chemical Co., Charlotte,Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-Tength dress of poau de sole and Chontflly lace styled with a bateau neckline. A lace plas-Iron encircled the waistline, and the (lame-shaped skirt was ap-pliqued with lace motifs. Her detachable train was caught at ,lhe shoulders with miniature h u w s* U e r . h r e a ■ t i c r bouffant veil of silk illusion was caught to a pleateau of lace florets sprinkled with pearls.Miss Louise Snipes of this cUy. was honor attendant. .Brides-'-maid was Miss Alice Burris, also of this city. They wore floor-length dresses of red velvet styled with empire bodices and scoop necklines, A satin cord underscored the bustlmes and extended to the back with streamers which fell to the hemline of the-sheath skirls. They wore white fur hats and carried matching muffs accented with sprigs of holly.Jimmy Hudson of Salisbury was host man. Ushers svera Mark A. Carswell II of this city and William 0. Sutton of CharlotteImmediately following the ceremony, the bride’s parcnta honored Ihe couple at a reception at their home.After a wedding trip, the couple, will make their home on Rt. 7, Box 4, Old Statesville Htghway, Charlotte.
