MERGEN, Society Editor, Telephoned j Rug.later of a secretarial school in Reno. Since completing her advanced work she has been employed in the business office of the Minden Cooperative Creamery, and is active in the younger group in this community.Her maternal grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. F. Nedden-riep, pioneers in the building of both Douglas and Alpine counties.Mr. Yparraguirre is the sen of Mr, and Mrs. Frank M. Yparraguirre of Gardnerville, and he graduated with honors from the local high school, and attended the University of Nevada for one year. His fraternity is Alpha Tau Omega. He transferred to the University of California and 5s a pre-med student there. His Dater-nal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yparraguirre of Reno, formerly of Sweetwater, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Marquat, Carson Valley pioneers, were his maternal grandparents. The wedding date is to be announced later.ENGAGED to Daniel Louis Yparraguirre is Miss Joy Ann Russell. The announcement was made recently in Gardnerville but no wedding date has been set. Both Miss Russell and Mr. Yparraguirre are members of well-known Gardnerville families. Miss Russell is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Russell, while Mr. Yparraguirre is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Yparraguirre.
