Boyd-Spelts. jAt an 8 o'clock ceremony Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Boyd, their daughter, Eleanor, will become the bride of Milton Orval Spelts, jr.. son of Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Spelts, sr. Rev. Howard Buxton will officiate in the presence of 40 guests and the wedding party will take their places before the fireplace, on either side of which are Christmas trees. She will wear a string of pearls, and her elbow length veil will fall from a pear! juliet cap. White streamers will hang from hei bouquet of white roses and greenery. Miss Dorothy Boyd, her sister, will be her attendant, and will wear a red and white candy striped taffeta floor length dress trimmed with red velvet. Her bouquet, made similar to the bride's, will be of red car- ; nations. Judson Schroeder is best man, and Vincent Blinde pianist. Christmas decorations will be used at the reception which follows the ceremony. Mrs. Harold Shickley and Mrs. Vincent Blinde will assist with the serving, and Miss Louise Spelts will have the guest book Out of towm guests are Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Spelts of Loup City, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Newbold and Cecile Newbold, all of York. Both the bride and Mr. Spelts are seniors at the University of Nebraska, from where they will be graduated in January and June respectively. The bride is a member of Alpha Phi, and Mr. Spelts of Delta Up-silon.
