Rus, Koedam united in marriageKari Rus and Rick Koedam were united in marriage on December 5,1997 at the Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley. Rev.den Hoed officiated. Parents of the couple are Darwin and Helen Rus of Rock Valley and Edwin and Nina Koedam Sr. of Doon.Brenda Spaans, friend of the bride, was Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Linda Kaskie, sister of the groom, and Shana Rus, sister of the bride. Ashley Koedam, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.Calvin Zomer, cousin of the groom, was bestman. Groomsmen were Ed Koedam, brother of the groom, and Eric Rus, brother of the bride. Kyle Rus, brother of the bride, was ring bearer. Ushers were Lance Rus, brother of the bride,..and Doug Koedam, brother of the groom.
