Landhuis of Harris, became the bride of Charles Wilmarth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Wilmarth of Harris, at 7:30 Saturday evening, Dec. IS in the Methodist church at Harris. Rev. Roderick R- Ralston of Geneva, Illinois, cousin of the bride, officiated at the double ring ceremony.The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a floor length gown of brocaded satin, fashioned 'with scalloped neckline, basque bodice and bouffant skirt. Her fingertip illusion veil was attached to'a pearl trimmed crown, and she carried a bouquet of white calla lillies Mrs Roger Ruchotzke of Cedar Rapids, sister of the bride,- served as matron of honor, and Charlene Wilmarth, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. They wore identical street length dresses of pink velveteen with matching feather hats and satin shoes. They carried white carnation colonial bouquets.The bridegroom was attended by Bill Ridoad of Eslherville, as best man and Jesse Landhuis, brother of the bride.Marlon Landhuis and Leo Landhuis, brothers of the bride, and Gary Clark were ushers.Mrs. William Oatey of Vermillion, S. D., was organist, and Ruth Sorensen of Sioux City sang “The Song of Ruth” and “Wedding Prayer.”Mrs. Leo Landhuis, Des Moines was in charge of the guest book, and Doreen Mason, Phyllis Kruckenberg and Harriet Landhuis opened the gifts.Following the ceremony, a reception for over 200 guests^jiras held, in the Fellowship Center with Mrs. Warren Cox of Ashton as-hostese. MrsTWallace English of Sanborn served the punch, and Mrs. Ray Schechter of Worthington, Mnn7 poured. _ Mrs, WaldoWinter of Currie, Minn., served the three-tier wedding cake which centered the linen covered serving table.After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmarth will reside at 450 Momingside Ave., Sioux City, where the bridegroom will continue his studies as a senior at Momingside College.ENGAGEDDr. and Mrs. H.
