Parties Fete Bridal PairFinal bridal courtesies for Miss Rebecca Ann Gaston and Karl Graham Kirkman, Jr., will begin Christmas night. The couple will be married Saturday in a 4 p.m. chapel ceremony at Broad Street Methodist Church.Mrs. Karl Kirkman, mother of the bridegroom, will entertain the couple at an open house Christmas night from 8 to 10 o’clock. Guests will be received at the Kirkman home, 123 North Mulberry Street.A breakfast for the wedding party will be held Saturday morning at 11 o’clock at the Vance Motor Hotel. Hosts will be Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Spencer of Statesville, Miss Eva Kirkman of Thomasville, Dr. and Mrs. L. D. Hagaman of Boone, Mr. and Mrs. U. Q. Davis of Morganton.Immediately following t h e wedding, the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maury Gaston, will be hosts for a reception at the Statesville Country Club.
