Thetieighbors rushed in to ascertain the ensue. As Mr. James Lnnglev,a citizen entered the room, the husband named John Goble, had hold of his, wife, who had a babe in her arms, and was doing his utmost to throw her out of the front window, which was raised, into the street, a distance of three stories. Two other small children were screaming for their mother, and tremblingly stood crouched in one corner, fearful that they should share the same fate. The wife who was nearly exhausted, had been resisting his efforts to throw her out of the window for over naif an hour. Her hair was dishevelled, face scratched and her person greatly bruised. She clung to her infant with the tenacity and affection of a fond and doating mother.Mr. L. and officer Phillips secured Goble, nnd placed him in the w?atch house. Goble is notorious for beating and abusing his family, and has frequently threatened to take their lives. If the neighbors had not rushed in the time they did, there is no doubt but that all would have been killed by the hands of the husband and father. The wife was not able to sit up in bed yesterdaymorning. Goble w as held in £300 bail by the Mayor yesterday to answer. [Cin. Non., 10M.
