Mss Nancy Harris Is BrideOf Scott Warren CorneliusMiss Nanev Beth Harris and*Scott Warren Cornelius, both of Agua Duke, exchanged weddingvows December 16 at 7:30 p.m.at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alice.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jean Harris. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Frederick CurtCornelius of Agua Dulce.The Rev. A.H. Bohls, pastor, officiated for the double ringceremony.Luanne Gentry of Alice was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Donna Mathias and Sue Cornelius, both of Agua Dulce and Susan Rogers of Waco. They wore formal length gowns fashioned of brocaded delusteredsatin in American Beauty rose.Thev featured empire waistlines, from which fell the slightly flared skirts.THfc. NECKLINES were decollete and the fitted sleeves were long and tapered. Their matching hats were fashioned of tulle and brocaded delusteredsatin. They carried bouquets of camellias from which cascadedgladioia buds in shades of pink and rose.W avne Cornelius, brother of the bridegroom, of Alice was best man. Groomsmen wereDonnie Whitson, Mathis; MfredRay Wiley, Agua Dulce; and Gene Walker, Laredo. Ushers were Rodney Lynch, Corpus Christi, Tommie Jean Harris and Douglas Cornelius of Agua Dulce; and Joe Wavne Hendricks,KingsvilleTHE BRIDE wasgiven in Shemarriage by her father, chose a formal length gown of delustered satin. The scupitur-ed bodice had a wide protrait neckline formed by re-em-broidered Alencon lace withlong tapered sleeves.The sheath skirt was designed like an overskirt with a widelace border. The chapel length train was also bordered In theFrench lace. Formingher headpiece were pearls, fashioned asorange blossoms, and entwinedinto a crown, from which fellthe shoulder-length silk tulleveil.The bride’s bouquet was a white orchid encircled withminiature sweetheart roses. She wore a heart-shaped pendant centered with a miniaturediamond.Mrs. Levi Keyy of Bishopwas soloist,THE CHURCH was decoratedwith floor baskets holding arrangements of white gladlolas. The mother of the bride worea melon costume suit beaded inwhite, matching shoes and a draped white toque hat.
