NEWTON-KIDDGena Denise Kidd and James B Newton were married in a late summer wedding at Parkview Wesleyan Church in Chesterfield. The Rev. Leroy Hines officiated at the double ring ceremony.The church was decorated with tiered candelabra and burgundy and pink flowers.Dana Kidd, sister of the bnde, was maid of honor, with Christie Reydell, Annette Long and Vickie Foltz serving as bridesmaids Courtney Schapson was flower girl, and A.J. Metzger was ringbearer.Jeff Brand acted as best man Chuck Newton, Brad Newton and Darrell Newton were groomsmen. Andy Kidd, Dan Fox and Brad Marks were ushers.The bride was graduated from Highland High School in 1981 and attended Ball State University. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Robert J. Kidd. Anderson Her husband also attended BSU and was graduated from McCutcheon High School in Dayton, in 1979 He is a member of Sigma Phi Ep-silon and is employed at Mueller Masonry in Ufayette. The bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs Cliff Newton. She wore a pillbox style bridal cap with Russian veiling and earned a bndal bouquet which she designed and arranged of fresh Japhet orchids, pink and lavender roses, stephanotis and heather.Kvelyn McKinley was maid of honor, and Marceil Fneden was- v bridesmaidPhil Sylvester was best man; Mike Williams was groomsman.After the wedding, a reception was held at Anderson Holiday Inn.The bnde is employed at Jim Stewart’s Flower Shop.
