James Pauley, pastor of the church.Fashioned of satin and lace, the bride’s gown had an empire waistline, puffed sleeves and floor-length train. Her veil was borrowed from the matron of honor, Mrs. Randy Cauthen.The bride’s “something old’’ was a Bible belonging to her mother; “something new,’’ a necklace, gift of the bridegroom; and “something blue”, a garter from Mrs. Dwight Min-cey, aunt of the bridegroom.The matron of honor’s gown of red velvet was styled along empire lines, and her red net veil was worn with a velvet bow headpiece. Her flowers were white poinsettias.The bridesmaids were Miss Lee Ann Cranford. Miss Kimberly Myers, Miss Patsy Carpenter; and Mrs. Terry Norman of High Point Junior bridesmaid w as Debbie Correll Their gowns of red and green velvet were styled like that of the bride. They wore matching red and green velvet bows in their hairwith net veils and carried red and white poinsettias.Lynn Orbison, flower girl, was in a green velvet gown styled along empire lines.Wedding Guests The guests, who were from here and from Greensboro, High Point and Charlotte, N. C ; and the state of South Carolina, were registered by Mrs. Boyd Correll and seated by Randy Cauthen, brother of the bridegroom; Steve Artz, brother of the bride; and Terry Barnhardt and David Chambers.Mrs. Artz was attired in a pink polyester dress with white carnation corsage for her daughter's wedding.The mother of the bridegroom chose a lilac polyester dress to which she also added white carnations.A 1971 alumnus of Northwest Cabarrus High School, the bridegroom works for Food Town here.
