Events Precede Satu4-eddingLinen Shower *On October 16, Mrs. Anthony Jordon Mullins and Mrs, Irving Silverman entertained Miss Billie Dawn Miller with a coffee and linen shower. Gold and bronze mums were used throughout the house. Miss Miller received many lovely gifts. Fifteen guests attended. Kitchen Shower Mrs. John Cole and Mrs. Sam Marasco gave a kitchen shower in honor of Miss Miller on No-vember the 8th, Bridal bingo was played, A bridal motif was used in table decorations. Twenty-eight guests attended. Lingerie Shower .Miss Ardath Gray, Miss Patsy Perdue, Miss Cathy Stewart and Miss Peggy Haynes entertained Miss Miller at their home in Roanoke withalingerie shower on November 23rd. The honoree, the bride's mother and the groom's mother, Mrs. Howell, were presented corsages ofpink carnations, A pink and white color scheme was used in table decorations. A beautiful sewing basket was a gift of the club and each member brought articles to All It. 'Dessert Bridge Mrs. Emily Barley and Miss Ruth Layman entertained Miss Miller with a desert bridge on December 1 at Miss Laymans horns In Roanoke, There were two tables of bridge. The honoree received a lovely gift of trivets.Miscellaneous Shower Mrs. A.S. Austin, Mrs. Ralph Cox Mrs. Albert Austin gave Miss Miller a miscellaneous shower on December 9th. Miniature bride and bridesmaids dolls dress in aqua decorated the table. Miss Miller received many lovely gifts. There were 25 invited guests.Faculty Shower , Miss Miller was given a surprise shower on December 14 by the faculty of Mason's Cove School, where she teaches. Unusual kitchen articles were given the bride and silver cand-leholders were a gift of the faculty.Bridesmaid Luncheon Miss Billie Dawn Miller and her mother.
