Alspangh Bell.A surprise was sprung on their friends by Mr. Harry Bell and Miss Gay Alspaugh, Wednesday, the 11 inst, when the announcement of their marriage was made on our streets next morning. The young people had slipped off to Kentucky to have the knot tied and the ceremony was performed at the Baptist parsonage at Louisville at 5 p. m. that day. The event was not unexpected but the secret of the time had been most carefully concealed. The young people have many friends here with whom the Leader wishes to join in congratulations and wishes the happy pair much happiness and success.
