Czapia. son of Henry Czapia of Anaheim, in a recent late afternoon ceremony in Greenwich Wedding Chapel. Before an altar decorated with white blossoms they i received their vows by candlelight with 60 guests witnessing; the double ring service. _ .. !Ward Haukap gave his cousin in marriage. She was gowned iniceblue satin styled with full skirt which was draped mto a bustle back. Her hat of matching satin was trimmed with tulle ami she carried a white orchid on a prayer book. Florence Mercer, a friend of the bride, made the gown. Mrs. Zada Haukap, matron of honor, .wore gunmetal gray satin and accessories, carrying a bouquet of butterfly orchids. John Herron attended his brother as best man. Ushers were Charles Dickinson and Charles Maben.At the reception immediately following the ceremony hostesses . were Dorothy Dickerson and Anne Riley. Marilyn Brown presided at the guest book. The pair are honeymooning in Riverside and Big Bear Bake and after Jan. 1 will reside in Anaheim.Mr. Czapia served four years in the Army during World War II.
