Oakleigh Christmas concert and dance was held last Fri day, with a large crowd in attendance. A good concert, bountiful lunch and dancing to music supplied by McLean’s orchestra concluded an enjoy able evening of entertainment for everybody attending. Visitors in the district were: Miss Helen and Hilda and Henry Dick, Mary Hyndman and James Ironside, Jr. Kroeger—Past A very pretty_wedding was stemnized on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1.30 o'clock, in the Men church, when Katie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fast, was united in the bonds of ‘holy matri mony to George, second, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Kroeger, all of this district ‘The bride's dress was a prin cess style, formal length, pale yellow, embroidered _ organdy with a waist length n ch, and she car quet of red rose: mony was condh ‘A. Neufeld, of Ni by Mr. P. Harms, of White, water. ‘The choir was conduct ed by Mr. Kroeger, sr. organist was Miss’ Lou feld, of Rivers After the ceremony a recep tion was held in the nt of the church.
