Kay Cubbage of Mount Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Silvious of Timberville have announced the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Kay Silvious, to Tommy William Cook, both of Woodstock. He is the son of Faye Layman and Jerry Cook, both of Sebring, Fla. Silvious graduated from Stone wall Jackson High School and works at First Union National Bank in Harrisonburg. Cook graduated from Central High School and serves in the U.S. Air Force in Lackland, Texas. The wedding will be held Feb. 15, 1997, at Reformation Lutheran Church in New Market.
