Detwiler-Sersch fall wedding vows recited in PennsylvaniaRED LION, Pa. - Thelma Jean (Phillips) Sersch and Ronald Wayne Detwiler exchanged wedding vows Sept. 8, 1990. The ceremony took place at St. Paul Methodist Churcn.The bride is the daughter of Lloyd B. Phillips and Mrs.Dorothy Fry, both of Harrisburg. Mr Detwiler is the son of Mrs. Grace Catherine Mower, Cumberland, Md., and the late Auther Kyle Detwiler.Serving as her sisters’s matron of honor was Mrs. Elsie Yarnell, Red Lion. Mrs. Don-namarie Freedman, daughter of the bride, Camp Hill, was bridesmaid and Nicole Freedman, Jessica Freedman and Tiffany Marie Harris, granddaughters of the bride, were flower girls.Acting as his stepson’s bestman was Charles Theodore Mower. Ushers were David Harris, Daniel Sersch and John Sersch, all sons of the bride. Daniel Sersch and Pane Freedman, grandsons of the bride, were ring bearers.The reception was held at Brady’s Restaurant, Steelton.The couple honeymooned on Holden Island, N.C.The bride is a graduate of New Cumberland High School in Pennsylvania and theThompson Institute Business College in Harrisburg. She isemployed with the Pennsylvania State Police in Harrisburg.Mr. Detwiler is a graduate of Fort Hill High School, Cumberland, and Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Md. He is employed as a computer systems analyst for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
