MR. AND MRS.ROBERT JONESJones’ celebrate 40th anniversaryand Mrs. Dayne Young, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tisdale, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Baker and Tony,Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bernard Jones of Winslow celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday evening, Nov. 13.Mrs. Jones is the former Florence Ferguson, bom in Newman, 111. She attended school at Spurgeon. Jones is from Winslow.The couple has one son, Gor-dan Duane Jones of Winslow.The reception was held at the Heritage Inn in Jasper and hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Nellie Jones. Music was provided by Doyle Mac. The food, cake and punch was catered by the Heritage Inn.Those attending and sending gifts, cards and flowers were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Christman, Wabash; Mr. and Mrs. K.L. Richardson, Peru; Mr. and Mrs. I-ester Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Butcher, Terri Butcher and Cindy Shields, all of Indianapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Harper and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Horner, all of Washington.Also remembering the Joneses included; Mr. and Mrs Thornas Hint, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shane, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Readle, Mr and Mrs. Harry Bales, Mr. and Mrs. George Akard and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brothers, all of Petersburg; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dean, Mr.Mr. and Mrs. Duane Jones and Alan, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Eskind, Marvin Snyder, Carolyn Beuchle, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Esarey, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Auten, Kermit Auten, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hint, Mr. and Mrs. David Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Willis, Carla and Darren, all of Winslow.Others were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dougan, Spurgeon; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hunt and Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Hunt, ail of Poseyville; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Seurloek and Debbie, Mount Vernon; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Ferguson and Dorthy Schumacker, all of Evansville; Mr. and Mrs. Truman Ferguson, Owensville; Mrs. Kay Smith, Stephensport, Ky., Mr. and Mrs. David Mam, Owensboro, Ky.; Mr. and Mrs. John Dyer, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Jones and Dr. and Mrs. Robert V. Brown, all of Oakland City; Mrs. Helen King, Kerr-ville, Texas, and Mrs. Jones’ mother, Mrs. Laura J. Ferguson of Princeton.Mrs. Jones’ twin sister, Mrs. Flora Di Geronimo of Kansas City, Mo., was unable to attend but telephoned to wish them a Happy Anniversary.”
