EXTRA ACTOR IN FILM OF JESSE JAMES GANG TRIES REAL ROBBERYSouthwest City, Mo., Dec. 14 — Mack Wilson, 23-year-old farmer of Jay, Ok., who was an extra in the motion picture, “Jesse James,” produced at Pineville last summer, began serving a five-vcar penitentiary sentence yesterday for a holdup in which he apparently carried over to real life his role in the picture account of the famous outlaw.He was convicted of armed robbery by a District Court jury Monday. Ira Martin, 25, who also worked in the Twentieth Century Fox picture, is in jail at Jay awaiting trial for the same hold-up.I The robbery occurred only a few weeks after they participated in the picture. Wilson and Martin were alleged to have waylaid Bud Rogers, a neighbor, on a little used byroad, and robbed him of $2.An old, broken down automobile was used by the pair, County Attorney Hendrix Wolfe said. The ! robbery took place Sept. 24, shortly after the film company left this j vicinity.
