in a candlelight’ ceremony performed on Saturday at 6 pm. In First Baptist Church, Joyce Blaine Tepeter of Vic toria became the bride of Danny Eugene Pauley of Galveston. ‘The Rev. Howard Pierce offsciited at the double TID VOWS. Parents of the couple are Mr. with Mrs. tarry Tepeler Sr. 107 B. Lawndale, and Mrs. Dorothy Pauley of Inez and the file Carl. Pauley, Organist Donnie Tegeler at anado, cousin of the pride, played “Sweet, Sweet Spirit,” Wedding Song,” “the Lord's Prayer,’ Turn Around, Look at Me, ’You are the Sunshine of My Life,’ First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ and traditional wedding music. Given in marriage by her father, the bride were a gows of candtelipit silk pros de Londre, fashioned with a high strand-up collar, a V-neckline and long pull sleeves, gathered into cuffs, all accented with in ported silk lace and seed pearls. Matching lace and pearls en circled the Fimpire waistline. Her fast gathered skirt, basided at the hemline with silk lace and seed pearls, fell into a court tengds vain. She wore opal earrings, a pitt from the groom, and a gold cross necklace belonging to her sister, Mrs. Kenneth Barr. A headpiece of silk organza roses, leaves and pearls held her cathedral length veil, edged with trace and pearl beading. She carried a cascade of white sweetheart roses, fusion and baby’s breath surrounding a miniature white orchid. Patricia Tegeler served her sister as maid of honor. She wore a formal -length gown of misty green chiffon over taf feta, featuring a sweeping ruffled collar, edged with im parted silk sage, and sheer sleeves, gathered at the wrists. The full skirt fell into tiers with insets of matching face. In her hair, she wore miniature red organza roses and greenery. She carried a cascade of red roses, illuslah and baby’s breath and a white Bible, a gift from the bride . Candlelighters were Jay Tepeler, cousin of the bride, and Betsy Pauley of Inez, cousin of the groom. _ The mother of the bride wore a formal gown of mint, green silk chiffonayer taffeta, designed with a high neckline and a softly shirted, fitted bodice, both accented with green silk braid and green pearls. Matching trim circled the waistline. Flowing cagetet sleeves fell halfway to the hemline. _ The mother of the groom chose a formal length gown of powder blue and white polyester knit,styled with a stand-up collar, long sleeves and an Empires waistline. She wore a matching jacket which ied at the waist. Both mothers wore complementary ac cessories and corsages of red sweetheart roses. The bride presented each mother with a single long stenned white sweetheart rise. Denny Pauley of Inez was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Ted Treel af George West and Harry Tegeler Jr., brother of the bride. . immediately following “the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.” Debbie Pauley of Inez registered guests. Serving in the house party were Mesdames ,Wilton Tegeler, Eugene Vesely,Gus Tegeler, Wilfred Tegeler, 3. W. Martin, Alvin Nelson, Kenneth, Sarr of Port Lavaca, Raymond Boehm of Ganado and Atdity ‘Tyter of Vanderbilt and Misses ‘Debbie Boehm, Shirley Vesély, Debbie Nelson, Mary Jo Pauley of Baytown, Becky Pauley of Inez, Rosan Boehm of‘ Heer Park and Monica Tegeler ‘at, Ganado. Departing on a honeymoosh trip, the bride wore a mull colored green sweater, a white piana knit blouse and pale‘nint green knit pants. She wore brown patent accessories ‘and a corsage of white Cymbidiary orchids. A rehearsal dinner, was hosted by the groom’s mother on Friday 1 in the home of B. W. Martin. The bride, a 1971 graduate of Victoria High School, is a 1973 honor graduate of Temple Junior College, which she at tended on a basketball scholarship. She was on the dean's list and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She will be a December honor graduate of Texas A I University With a degree in secondary education with majors in health and physical education and business education. Wile at AG!, she participated in basketball and volleyball, was a member of Alpha Chi Omega honorary society and the Healthy and Physical Education Club and was voted a distinguished student. The groom ‘is a 1968 graduate of Vanderbilt High’ School, where he was voted a senior class favorite. He al tended Victoria College and received a B.B.A. degree MRS. DANNY EUGENE PAULEY
