Wedding Plans Are CompletedMiss Slisan Kay Lewis, only daughter of Max M, Lewis of Mt, Vernon, has completed plans for her forthcoming marriage to Ted Alan Pilson, son of Mr, and Mrs. Walter Pilson also of Mt Vernon.The wedding ceremony will be performed by Herbert J. Wilson at six o’clock Saturday evening, January 1, at the Central Church of Christ. A program of nuptial music will be presented by vocalist, Miss Dolores Jean Wilson, talented daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wilson, who has currently concluded an eastern tour with the singing Hoosiers from the University of Indiana School of Music. Miss Wilson, a junior at the University of Indiana will be accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Jack Outland of Mt. Vernon.The bride-elect, who will be given in marriage by her father, has chosen Mrs. Carl M. Taylor of Mt. Vernon, as her matron of honor. The bridesmaids who will attend Miss Lewis will include Miss Gloria McNeill of Arlington, Virginia, Mrs. David Harris of Christopher, both cousins of the bride, Miss Nancy Martin of Carbon-dale, Mrs, James M. Waters, Mrs. Larry D. Stroup, and Mrs. William Montfort of Mt. Vernon. Little Miss Libby Martin of Mt. Vernon has been selected as the flower girl and Master Randy Harris, cousin of the bride from Christopher as the ring bearer.Mr. Pilson has chosen Michael Stewart of San Diego, California to serve as his best man, and George Bennet of Denison, Texas, Dean Hertenstein of Peoria, Robert Mills of Fairborn, Ohio, Jan Miller of St, Louis, David Fredricks of Belleville and John Latta of Roanoke to serve as ushers.Mr. and Mrs. Max Lewis, parents of the bride-elect, will entertain at a reception to be held immediately following the ceremony. Those serving at the reception will be Mrs. Goffrey Troutt of Christopher, Mrs. Arthur McNeill and Mrs. Gene Lewis of Aurora, Mrs. Kenneth Bacon of Battle Creek, Michigan . and Mrs, Louie E. Lewis Jr. of Bloomington, all aunts p of the bride., Presiding at the guest register will be Mrs. Robert J. Barbieri of Mt. Vernon.Miss Lewis, a graduate of Mt. Vernon Township High|( School, attended the University of Illinois on a scholarship, and as t. recent free lance writer, has had several publications ap- J( pear in g in the Evansville Courier and Press, The* Writer’s Journal; Ideals Magazine and Vantage Press.Mr. Pilson graduated from Mt. Vernon Township High lt;School and is a former United t States Army Airborne Instructor. He is a recent graduate of jl Southern Illinois - University and is presently, employed with Orvis.
