MRS. THOMAS J. SCIALABBARenee M. Buracchio Takes Nuptial VowsSt. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church was the setting for the wedding of Miss Renee Marie Buracchio and Lance Cpl. Thomas Joseph Scialabba Saturday, Nov. 29, at 12 noon. The Rev. Fr. James J. Murphy officiated for the open church and double-ring nuptial mass.Nuptial selections were provided by Mrs. Paul Leeson, solosit, and Mrs. Robert Nau, organist. 0The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reno Buracchio of 122 Fairway St., Weirton. The groom is the son of Mrs. Mary Scialabba of East 46th St., Brooklyn, N. Y., and the late Joseph Scialabba.Mr. Buracchio gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a floor-length gown of egg shell satin fashioned with a high Victorian neckline and Empire waist. Appliques of imported French lace bordered the Bishop sleeves and small satin-covered buttons accented the back of the gown. The A-line skirt featured a cathedra 1-length train with French lace scallops encircling the entire edge of the train. Her only jewelry was a filagreed necklace of rubies and diamonds worn by her maternal grandmother, aunt and mother on their wedding days.Her three-tiered waist-length veil of silk illusion was held in plae^by a pearled Camelot cap.She carried a bridal cascade of spider mums, red roses, white lilies and lilies-of-the-valley.Miss Marianne Torchio of Weirton, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.Bridesmaids were Miss Carolee Torchio, cousin of the bride, Miss Carol Arango, Mrs. Paul Altomare Jr., Miss Elaine Yurjevick and Miss Karen Angelo, all of Weirton.Tina Torchio, cousin of the bride and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Torchio Jr, of Weirton, and Diane and Susan Popish, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Popish of Weirton, were flower girls.Anthony Scialabba of Brooklyn, brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Paul Altomare Jr. and John Bengier, of Weirton, both cousins of the bride; George Slanchik, Larry Czapla, both of Weirton, and Jim Jones of Jacksonville, N, C.Louis Torchio III, cousin of the bride and son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Torchio Jr., was ring bearer.A dinner for the immediate family was held at 2 p.m. in the Millsop Community Center. A dinner and reception was held at 6 p.m. in the K. of C. Hall on Cove Road.The couple went on a wedding trip to Los Angeles, Calif., and will reside at Jacksonville, N. C.Mrs. Scialabba was graduated from Madonna High School in 1967 and from the Florida Institute of Electronics in 1969. She was formerly employed by the Steubenville Credit Bureau.L-Cpl. Scialabba wasgraduated from Brooklyn High School, N. Y., and is serving with the U. S. Marines, stationed at Jacksonville. He also spent a 13-month tour of duty in Veitnam.
