Mrs. Gloria Bailey of Bloomfield. niece of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Rita Cooksey and Mrs. Patricia Kenworthy.both of Linton. The three attendants were gowned in dresses of orchid brocade taffeta styled with empire waists. Theywore matching headdresses made with orchid tulle, covering bows of orchid brocade taffeta. and white shoes. They carried bouquets of white carnations tipped in orchid. The flower girl was Miss Kellie Kenworthy. niece of the bride. She wore a white brocade taffeta dress trimmed with orchid rib bons inserted through lace. She carried a white basket of rose petals which was also trimmed with orchid satin ribbons.The bride’s mother chose, for her daughter’s wedding, a beige suit with brown accessories and she wore a corsage of white | pi carnations tipped with orchid. Mrs. Brown wore a pink suit with black accessories and a corsage of pink carnations.A reception followed the ceremony in the lower auditorium of the church. The bride’s table was covered with a white lace tablecloth over orchid and wasaccented with imprinted orchidnapkins. The three-tiered cakewas decorated with orchid wedding bells and was topped with a miniature bridal couple.
