Toon-HoganA pretty wedding vu celebrated recently at 8t Joseph’s Cathedral when 8hiriey Pran-' ces .elder daughter of Ur and ? Mrs F. E. Hogan, was married to Ernest Hylton, only son of Mr and Mrs F. O. Toon. Rev. Father Daly performed the . ceremony.The bride looked charming , aa the entered the cathedral » escorted by her father to the . strains of the Wedding March ! Played by Miss D. White. Her . gown of cut-work embroidered anglais© featured a tight - fitting bodice, high Peter Pan collar ind short puffed sleeves and her very full flared skirt formed a short train. The 1 three - tiered finger - tip tulle ! veil was mounted on a lame Juliet cap and caught on pacb side with a spray of orange blossom. She carried a small dainty shower bouquet of white stocks, stepbanotls and frangl-panl tied with white ribbons.The bride was attended by her sister Colleen (chief) and Miss Joan Barnes as bridesmaids. Both were frocked alike in blue figured organza featuring a portrait neckline, tight-fitting bodice and fully flared skirts. They wore blue tinsel lace Juliet caps with a trailing spray of pastel - shaded flowers and carried Old World shower bouquets of pastel pink and cream frangipani. glad Ml and roses arranged with pink and blue ribbons.The bridegroom was supported by his cousin. Mr Bruce Major, as best man and Mr Walter Bates as groomsman. During the signing of the reg-tottr. Miss Elena Hennessey sang an Ave Maria”.On leaving the cathedral the bride was presented with two satin horseshoes by her little cousins. Judith Neilson and Carol Ann Hogan.Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Cross rooms, where 130 gun* were received by the brides mother, who was assisted by the bridegroom’s mother. Mrs Hogan chose a blue crepe frock with cyclamen hat black accessories and a spray of cyclamen and blue asters, carnations and agapauthus lilies. The bridegroom's mother wore a green floral frock with black accessories and added a spray of autumn - toned carnations, gladioli and crucifix orchids. Mr Jack Hogan was chairman.On leaving for their honeymoon, which was spent at the | coast the bride wore a navy |bolero suit trimmed with a I navy and white striped collar and cuffs. She added nary accessories. -
