The leading social event of Inman was the marriage of Mr. John W. Hightower, of Macon and Miss. Mary Euich of this place, on Wednesday, Xoc. 5th. The ceremony was performed by Rev. D. MeBucan in a beautiful and impressive manner. The bride ia the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Bnrch. and is noted for her beauty of both form and feature. The bride was attired in c beautiful dress of grey silk, whieh, on this occasion caused her to appear especially lovely and charming. Mr. Hightower is well known in this county where ho formerly lived. The happy coupld left at once for Macon their future home, tarrying with them the congratulations andgcod wishes of their many friends.
