oNick Kurrh, aged about 25 years, is lying in the Kfttanning hospital suffering from a severe stab wound alleg ed to have been inflicted by his brother, Milian Kurch, aged 20 years.••Milian was lodged in jail Saturday on a committment issued by Squire R. Barnhart of Worthington charging felonious assault and battery. The broth ers are employed at the “Yellow Dog” mine at Buffalo creek and the stabbing tor I occurred Friday morning following a a fuss as to who was to get up and pre-m pare breakfast.ip Nick is said to have routed Milian ‘ out of bed and chased him out of the e. house. About two rods from the house 0f Nick is said to have caught up with.isthreton-»*L Iif-ted.Milian and hit him with a hammer and Milian stabbed Nick with a butcher kpife. One rib was cut off and the liver and gall sack were punctured. The wounded man was brought to the Kit-tanning hospital. Milian was arrested and taken before Squire Barnhart andcommitted to jail. ,Although the wounded man has been a patient at the Kittanning hospital since Saturday, efforts to secure information there this (Monday) morning about him were unsuccessful. For reasons not explained, attaehees at thehospital manifested a marked reluct-i% | ance about giving any information to i*f! the public.
