Mr. and Mrs. Wagner will make their home in Remsen. The bride is one of the well-known residents of Remsen, having resided here for many years, and the groom is a prominent farmer who has lived for years on his farm south of Marcus.Another prominent event was the marriage of Miss Barbara Kirsch and Frank Beelner, which took place in St Mary’s church last Thursday morning at 8 o’clock, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Father Schulte. The attendants were Miss Margareth Ludwig and Mr. Matthew Beelner, a son of the groom. Following the ceremony the party went to the home of the groom on the north outskirts of Remsen, where a reception was held and a large number of relatives were entertained during the day. The bride resided here for the past two years, having come from Luxemburg, Europe, and the groom is a well-known Remsen farmer who lived here for the past,twenty years. Mr. and Mrs. Beelnec will continue to make their home here.An accident occurred shortly after six o'clock on Sunday evexwing. There was a large crowd and many automobiles in town for the show at the Grand. Henry Deitermann, a farmer residing a half mile northeast of town, was alone in his car and was driving down Main street. Bert Erichson was driving west on Second street, and on the Main square both cqrs met. The Deitermann car hit the Erichson car, in the rear end. The Erichson car was upset, while the Deitermann car remained on its wheels. Both cars were somewhat damaged. Mr. Erickson was thrown against ttie pavement and sustainedsevere injuries about the head, and#was not able to go home until the next day. The other occupants of the overturned car were Mrs. Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nitzsche and Henry Erichson.
