The following is taken from the New Jersey Herald: “At the hour of going to press an interesting letter is received from our good friend, John H. Bale, of Delaware, O., that great friend of Suffrage and Prohibition, who allows no opportunity to pass unimproved to express his clearly defined opinion upon these two great questions that are today so vigorously agitating the public mind. Mr. Bale believes the greatest presidential election ever held in the United States has just passed, and a rest is now felt among the people n that could have been experienced in : clt; no other way than by the election of; ti Woodrow Wilson as president. A p beautiful thought. Mr. Bale tells us c that he was 83 years of age in Aug- cCMo1lt;fust last, and that Mrs. Bale passed her 80th year in April, 1916. Their 57th wedding anniversary occurred the lOth'of the present month. Mr. q Bale writes: ‘We are active and interested in current events. As a native of Baleville, I enjoy local Items from that community and localities adjacent thereto.’ The Herald compliments Mr. and Mrs. Bale upon their excellent health and wishes for them ‘ still many other years of happiness and contentment, and a continuanceof interest in the welfare and prog-►ress of their New Jersey friends.’’toitco
