Simons-Bullock Wedding—The appended clipping from a Tyler paper will be of interest to the people of Bryan:One of the pretties' weddings ever witnessed in Tyler occurred at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Simons, on Sunday evening at 8 o'clock, when their daughter, Lottie Karl, became the wife of Mr. Joel Marshall Bullock.The home was beautifully decorated with Southern smilax and pink and white chrysanthemums.1 Love You Truly.” sung by Miss Vera Oman, after which the strains of Beethoven's wedding march, played by the talented vlollnst. Mr. Oman, came the bride and groom .preceded by Miss Nellie Myers. Mr. Roy Ston6, Miss Lucile CcCardell. Mr. John Rogers. and before the beautiful altar which had been erected. Rev. J. H. Holland pronounced in a very impressive manner the words that made them man and wife.The beautiful bride wore a lovely gown of dew drops chiffon over Duchess satin with the veil wreathed with orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of white carnations.The charming maid of honor. Miss Nellie Myers of Waco, wore a gown of spangled net over pink charmuse and carried a bouquet of pink carna tions. while the lovely Miss McCardell wore a beautiful gown of chiffon over pink satin and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.The groom and his attendants wore the conventional black. The bride Is one of Tyler's loveliest young women and her sweet manner and lovely Christian character has won the hearts of all who know her. Tyler's loss is Bryan's gain and we have lost one of the fairest flowers from our garden of lovely girls. The groom is the youngest son of Rev. J. M. Bullock of Bryan and is a young man o*'high esteem and a prosperous businessman of Bryan.Many valuable and beautiful gifts were received by the happy couple and they leave a host of friends who wish them a life of much happiness and success.Mr. and Mrs. Bullock left on the early morning train for Bryan, where they will be at home to their friends after December 15. after December 15.The out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mr. Roy Stone of Bryan.
