Fred J Douglas officiated.The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W j. Chandler, formerly of Virdcn. Manitoba. Mr. J and Mrs. Charles McFadden, 397 Ferry Road, are the parents ol the ^ bridegroom.W. Swardfager played the wed-|c ding music and Mrs. E. Compton was soloist.j The bride was given in marriage ^ by her father She chose an ankle j. length gown of white nylon net f and Chantilly lace over taffeta. The L bodice was strapless and was top-1,! ped by a redingotc of appliqucd s luce on net. with a small stand up collar, and lily poinied sleeves. Th-‘|v redingotc opened from the buttoned waist to reveal the gathered bodice and three-tieied bouffant skirt of net. A matching lace cap in flower design, centred with seed pearls held her fingertip veil of nylon net with rppliqucd edging of lace. The bride carried a cascad of carnet roses and white pompons.May McFadden. sister of the | j bridegroom, was bridesmaid. Campbell Wallace was best man. Ushering the guests were Stanley McFadden. brother of the bridegroom, and Edward Jones.A reception was held at No. 1 Legion hall, Sargent avenue.Mr. and Mrs McFadden left on a honeymoon trip by air to New York, Montreal and Toronto.
