Joyce Simpson Weds in Ceremony Held Saturday EveningMiss Joyce Simpson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Simpson! of Paw Paw, and Arthur Titzel, sonj of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Titzel of Little Rock, were united in marriage in the Paw Paw Methodist Church Saturday evening at 8 o'clock. The Rev. Webster Hobb, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony.A prelude of nuptial music was jjlpyed by Mrs. Gale Kerns, organist, and “I Love You Truly and “The Lord’s Prayer were sung by Mrs. Gene Archer. Bouquets of fall colored chrysanthemums decorated the altar.Mrs. Roy Weekley of Earlville and Harold Reynolds, friends of the couple, served as attendants. Ushers were Allan Hoelzer, a nephew of the bride and Don Classon..The bride was given in marriage by her brother, John Simpson, and she was attired in a gown of white nylon lace over blue taffeta. The close-fitting bodice was styled witji a peter pan collar, long tapered sleeves and covered buttons to the waist in front. The full gored skirt was floor lengths JL small 4ace cap trimmed with seed pearls held the fingertip veil in place and the bride carried a colonial style bouquet* of white roses. For something old she carried a lace handkerchief which had belonged to her mother and sh* wore a pearl necklace, tjie groom's gift.Mrs. Weekley wore a gown of yellow net over taffeta fashioned lyith a strapless bodice, a pet stole and a full floor length skirt.* Her bouquet of white ’mums was colonial style.The bride’s sister, Mrs. Harold Hoelzer wore a navy blue dress with matching accessories and the mother of the bridegroom selected a teal blue frock with harmonizing accesJ ones. Each, had a corsage of white 'mums.A large number of friends and relatives attended the reception which followed in the church parlor*.[ A three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom centered the serving table. Lignted candles burned in crystal candelabra.*Miss Marilyn* Smorado served the cake, Mrs.,Leo Dilibeck presided pt. the punch bowl and Miss Bonnie Thompson was at the silver coffee service.
