KChristmas Party W.by PagGKBaiaIVcThe Northern California Unit of Pagers met Sunday at the home \ of Verna Weston, 443 Ninth St., 1 Richmond, with Mrs. Mary T. Smithburn of Berkeley, as co-hostess. The group then went to Hotel Carquinez for luncheon and the table was gay with Christmas dec- e orations and favors. Later the women returned to the Weston home where there was a brightly decorated tree.At the business meeting, various matters were discussed and Christmas boxes were prepared for 15 shut-ins. There was an exchange of gifts and George Smithburn of Berkeley showed movies to the 20 members who were present; Mrs. Smithburn took pictures of the assemblage. Refreshments were served at the conclusion of the afternoon.The rare collection of salt and pepper shakers belonging to Eva Johnson, president of the unit, has grown to 1600 and Elois T. Cameron of 1015 Sierra St., who has a similar collection, now has 1300, it was reported.)-ley*0y.e-illatigat
