ARSENIUK — WIN ZINO WICHKnox United Church was the scene of a wedding uniting Linda Winzinowich and Lawrence Ar-seniuk in Holy Matrimony on November 15th, Dr. D. B. MacDonald officiated at the double ring ceremony.The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Winzinowich, 9 Walden Crescent Transcona and the groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Arseniuk, 364 Simcoe St., Winnipeg.The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose the traditional style gown with sheer laced bodice, lily point sleeves, and full chiffon skirt featuring rose appliques. Her shoulder length veil was held by a crystal crown and she carried a cascade of red roses.Matron of honor, Mrs. Lorraine Toker, and bridesmaids Miss Linda Arseniuk and Miss Paulette La Croix, wore identical floor length gowns cxf deep purple velvet, with long puffed sleeves, empire waistline, trim med with mauve daisies. They carried mauve chrysanthemums and wore matching flowers in their hair.Larry Baker was best man and ushering duties were shared by Ben Arseniuk and Richard Winzinowich.During the signing of the register , Miss Patsy Teleglow gave a lovely rendition of the song “0 Perfect Love”.Out of town guests included Lawrence’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Zawislak of Lac du Bonnet and many friends and relatives from Lac du Bonnet, Cooks Creek and Komarno, also Linda’s grandmother Mrs. Pry-sizney of Komarno.Following the service a reception was held at St Michael’s Parish hall in Transcona.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Winzinowich chose an ensemble of turquoise blue with matching accessories and a corsage of red roses. Mrs. Arseniuk chose pink brocade for her ensemble and also wore a corsage of red roses.For going away, the bride donned a red crimplene coat-dress with black patent accessories and a corsage of white feathered carnations.After a brief honeymoon in Minneapolis, the happy couple will take up residence in Transcona.
