Stratton’s John Christian Named On All-State 11 By The Associated Press .WILLIAMSON — Conley of Mul lens was awarded the state Negro schoolboy football title Saturday at a regular meeting here of the West Virginia High School Athletic Un ion. The Conley eleven, once beaten and once tied, was credited with 23.01 points to nose out Charles ton Garnet, rated at 22.05. Conley defeated Garnet 13-12 in the first game of the 1951 season for both schools for Garnet's only loss.
