Golden Weddiug.The residence of Mr. William A. Long who resides in Milton Township, Jackson County, O. was the so*n-of it grand gathering on the 1st day of December, 188*3, this being precisely fifty years since Mr. William A. Long and Sarah Zinn were united together In marriage. The company comprising the gathering were of the best citizens of the country in connection with a large number of sons and daughters and their husbands aud wives In ail numbering about seventy persons. Tue day was somewhat wintry but the friendly faces of so many friends and relatives made it real sublime.The next grand feature of this gruud gathering was the wonderful collection of provision prodnced for the benefit of the bride and groom of fitly years ao. together with all favored guests who it must be said did justice to all the cuke and turkey and the innumerable other dainties that comprised that rich table. Especially would wo speak oi Mr. James Goddard who was frequently seen with the buue and ilesh of the yellow leg and other tilings rather too tedious to mention and, Mr. Editor, he was not alone for you know preachers tire not all exempt aud Rev A. G.
